In August 2015, TIS open its doors with open arms to embrace the Indianapolis Muslim Community. Our mission was clear: to offer parents a refreshing choice in education, one that seamlessly weaves Arabic, Quran, and Islamic Studies into the fabric of the state curriculum. We were driven by a collective vision – to provide our children with an education firmly rooted in the teachings of the Quran.
Our journey began with just a handful of eager learners – 15 students, two dedicated teachers, and a part-time principal. But oh, how we’ve grown! Alhamdulillah, from those humble beginnings, we’ve flourished into a bustling community of over 100 students, ranging from PreK to 8th grade, in the 2023-2024 school year.
It’s been a remarkable journey, one marked by passion, dedication, and the unwavering support of our families. Together, we’re shaping not just minds, but hearts, and souls, creating a nurturing space where every child can thrive.
